Ghost Storeys
My project set in 2050 stems from my cultural identiy as a Malaysian chinese and my daily rituals back at home. My project seeks to preserve Hungry Ghost Festival rituals & traditions through an eco-feminist lens. The project proposes a series of programs tailored to Malaysia’s climate, ensuring the preservation of rituals and crafts integral to this cultural identity. The project hopes to establish a circular economy that mitigates environmental impact while preserving the rituals and practices of the Hungry Ghost Festival.
