Re-Cultivating Harmony : Healing in Kowloon Walled City

Exploring urban crime spaces and the causes of criminal behavior through criminology, with Kowloon Walled City as the site. Due to its unique state of anarchy and dense spatial layout, it became a residential community that concealed numerous criminal activities. However, over time, the internal community structure developed spontaneous maintenance of community spaces and the eradication of criminal behavior. This resulted in a self-repairing process of both space and behavior within the Walled City. Therefore, through the healing process, the aim is to redefine urban crime spaces by changing human behavior.
