The Feminist Factory of Light
The Feminist Factory of Light sees the difficulties the youth of today face in their personal lives, and its undeniable impact on their mental health. The factory aims to provide a safe space for young people to go whenever they should want to, with a key focuss on nurturing their mental wellbeing through facilities providing sports, arts, green spaces, councelling services and social and private areas. Whether coming alone or with friends, the factory provides a place for all who may need it, helping users to rediscover their LIGHT.
I’m particularly enthusiastic about enhancing the natural environment through architecture and the relationship between people and the environment they are present in, whether that be outdoors or indoors. As a part of PRAXXIS, I have learned of the importance of designing for equity and acknowledging our own privilages, in order to create designs to better the world we live in. I want to create art through my architecture, and hope to make a difference in the world on an individual, personal scale.
