Tyler is a tutor at Manchester School of Architecture, teaching across BA1 and the Infrastructure Space atelier. She is a qualified architect and completed her studies at the University of Nottingham (MEng), London Metropolitan University (MArch) and Birmingham City University (PgDip).

Tyler has extensive experience in architectural practice, working across a range of scales and sectors in both architecture and urban design. She spent over a decade at SimpsonHaugh’s Manchester and London offices, working on large-scale projects across educational, leisure and high-rise residential sectors, alongside neighbourhood development and strategic regeneration frameworks.

Research

Tyler has research interests in community-led design, participatory and collaborative processes, adaptive re-use and accessibility and inclusivity within the built environment.
