Rachel completed her undergraduate (2007) and post-graduate (2012) study at the Manchester School of Architecture, passing her Part 3 in 2014. Her dissertation, 'Feminist Movements in Architectural Discourse’ gained a distinction. She has worked for numerous architecture practices in Manchester, most notably stephenson hamilton risley STUDIO, where she is a Senior Architect currently working on a 35 storey residential tower in Birmingham. With two friends, she set up the North West branch of Urbanistas in 2019, a female led network who aim to support women in the construction industry and provide a platform for female role models. She has tutored in both the PRAXXIS and CIA ateliers.
