The final year of the undergraduate programme began with the Atelier and Humanities elective selection process: a moment of choice, excitement and possibility. This year, students chose from eight Studio Ateliers and ten Humanities electives, allowing them to begin shaping the final year around their own interests, values and possible futures, both within architecture and beyond it.
This was supported by the Professional Studies lecture series, which opened up a wide range of routes through and around architectural practice. Each Atelier offered a distinct direction for design studio and technologies, while creating space for students to develop their own voices, methods and positions within a supportive studio culture.
This exhibition celebrates the richness of that process. It shows how students responded to a diverse and demanding learning environment with ambition, care and imagination. Across the work, they engaged with complex environmental and social questions without losing a sense of creative joy. Their projects evidence not only talent and hard work, but also curiosity, critical thinking and the courage to test ideas.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year: our guests, who brought generosity and insight to studios and lectures; our tutors, for their commitment, care and passion for teaching; and, most importantly, our students, whose energy and ambition made this such a rewarding year. It has been a pleasure working with you, and we wish you all the very best for the future.
