Connecting the City, Mountain And Sea
Our design work throughout the academic year was divided into Studio A/B/C.
In Studio A I delved into and analysed the urban story of Barcelona and its coastline. and came up with my manifesto "Connecting the city, mountains and sea". In Studio B I focused on how bridges can be used to create spaces that connect them.. I also planned a waterfront park that seeks to create connections between tourists and locals to make the spatial story richer.
Throughout the year the design aims to create connection between the Barcelona coastline and Montjuïc and the city. Using bridges as a medium, water as a core and architecture as a methodology, I gradually developed and realised the manifesto I proposed.
