The project is based on drone usage in healthcare. The idea sparked during the trip to Cumbria. Upon talking to the locals, they disputed that there was an immense problem in supplies and access to it; where they had to wait for weeks or even sometimes the suppliers did not have any of the medical supplies. As well as realising that there was a massive dependency on cars. Drones have the ability to fix this growing issues as well as be a sustainable solution for the geographical location of Cumbria.
The proposed project aims to respond to climate and social agendas through the use of drones. Drones aims to provide service to the residence of Cumbria, thus solving a major social issue of access to medical supplies. From the use of drones the project addresses climate agendas as it reduces the reliance of the population on vehicles which are the leading cause of climate change.
