The portfolio showcases a mixed-use project that aims to transform a triangular green space in Todmorden into a protected ecological reserve that promotes biodiversity while engaging humans in sustainable practices. It also ensures that human activity does not interfere with ecological processes by delineating a physical barrier to the natural space within the triangle. Innovative paths and observation points around the perimeter provide opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with and learn from the natural environment without trespassing on the reserve. And responds to the balance of species diversity. Breaking up the green triangle will respond to the policy of 'Active Todmorden', linking the routes of Walking and Cycling through the triangle as a new tourist area.
