TUORISMOPHOBIA
As a designer, I am passionate about embracing urbanism in its broadest scope to fuel creativity and shape the next generation of built environments. My studies in urbanism have provided me with a deeper understanding of how to read cities and societies from diverse perspectives, enabling me to approach urban development holistically and with cultural sensitivity. I have come to recognize that designing the built environment extends far beyond architecture, encompassing the social, economic, and environmental dimensions that shape urban life. With hands-on experience across various project scales and types—including regional planning, urban design, landscape, and architectural projects—I am driven to create spaces that inspire, engage, and promote sustainable living. Outside of my professional work, I am an advocate for cycling and enjoy exploring cities by bicycle, allowing me to experience urban spaces firsthand and continuously refine my vision for future urban environments. Through these pursuits, I remain committed to developing solutions that foster vibrant, resilient, and forward-thinking societies
TUORISMOPHOBIA
The vision is to transform the spaces surrounding tourist attractions in Barcelona into dynamic theaters of cultural exchange. By integrating these spaces into the fabric of everyday life, I aspire to create immersive experiences where tourists become active participants in Catalan culture. These metaphoric theaters will serve as catalysts for meaningful dialogue and enduring connections, enriching the experience of both visitors and residents alike. Isometric views show the buildings that will be removed from each block resulting in a connected loop. This loop will act as a cohesive system of public spaces around Sagrada Familia. It will magnetize curious tourists to explore the inner space of residential blocks. Elements from the Urban Catalogue will be placed in the loop to attract both the residents and the tourists to engage in different activities.
