Park²
A research and rehabilitation centre for Parkinson’s disease which focuses on the research cluster Neuroscience of Ageing and Impaired Mobility of MMU health department. The aim of this project is to provide a social space for people with Parkinson’s, a short-term residential space and a rehabilitation space. MMU students can gain nursing experience to help them become mature nursing staff. This place is also where researchers from different fields such as physiotherapy, psychology, neuronscience and movement science can have direct contact with the Parkinson’s community, which opens up new possibilities for research into the solution to Parkinson’s disease.
