Sex-positive feminism gives acknowledgment to the importance of a woman’s right to explore her body and sexual desire. The movement is against the norms that are present in the sexual sphere, it focuses on freedom of choice and respect for variance. However, despite these movements Women’s sexual pleasure is still marginalised in society today. This project creates a sex-positive environment, exploring sexuality as a means of political resistance. The overriding goal is to empower everyone to have the freedom to be open about their sexuality offering a safe space for people without having to fear the stigma of the patriarchy.
