Spaces that are loved.
During my project development stages I have always gravitated towards narratives which give the city back to its inhabitants.
Be it short term stay for visiting performers (first year), culture centers that sell churros (second year), or a small community which interconnects with the rest of the city (third year, shown here), these programmes are intrinsically related to how we use spaces and why we use them as communal beings.
Within my work I attempt to represent my ideas with a wide range of techniques, from traditional fine art, to digital media and sculpture or animation.
This project was about revitalising Preston's historic center, and consolidating a means to nurture its culture with which the users can express themselves.
