Diversify And Renewal Of Historical District Along Suzhou Creek
The site of my project is along the Suzhou Creek in Shanghai, my design proposal mainly focuson the enhancement of the landscape along the river and the renovation of the historic district within the site. Expanding the waterfront of Shanghai into the urban blocks adjacent to the creek. Create recreational waterfront edges and a vibrant urban frontage to regenerate the Suzhou Creek. Isolated neighborhoods are revitalized by creating new mixed-use public spaces and regenerating historical districts to establish linkages to nearby districts.
