District Distillery
This year I have been designing a whiskey distillery which prioritises the needs of its users whilst thinking about the RIBA sustainable outcomes guide at every stage of design. My design was inspired by my modelmaking at the beginning of the year. I was working with parametric designs on grasshopper which led to my initial pyramid concept. The name of my distillery comes from the fact that I have sustainably sourced the fresh water needed for my whiskey from a natural spring in the peak district, only a 30 minute drive away.
