Reinventing the Vessel: Interactive performance theatre
Being a feminist is a journey, like everything else in life. We’re all learning and fixing our mistakes along the way. And feminism has has fought through years and years for true equality. But looking back at the past, looking into the present I still find myself questioning some misalignments that have happened. These actions have been compacted under the umbrella term ‘Faux Feminism’ and in a more political context this is also named, ‘Purple Washing’. I wanted to point out some grey or black areas I believe that undermines the true intentions of the movement. Maybe we can try and amend these mistakes for the betterment of the feminist movement?
