My expertise and interest lies within the programming and computational approach to the architecture. I have been doing programming for several years and for the final year I was able to create a multiplayer game that allows players to design their cities.
For the main thesis project is centred on the idea of gamifying our approach to urban planning whilst utilising Doughnut Economics. It is centred on the idea that in order to design thriving cities we need to make sure we don’t over or undershoot the golden zone of economics, represented by the doughnut.
By using gamification we are making it easy and quick to access the urban designing tools for the general public, making them their own designers of the cities that they are going to be living in.
