My name is Hang Yang, you can call me Shawn. I come from Jiangsu, China, a country with a long history, and it has buildings and cities of different styles, which may be my original intention to study this major.
I received my bachelor's degree in urban planning from Southwest Jiaotong University in China. Therefore, I do more urban studies than architectural studies. When I was a child, I was fond of walking with my parents every night, Which helped me cultivated many interests and learn fantasy about city life at night. This experience was my first feeling about the city. My master's degree is at the Manchester School of Architecture. This learning experience allowed me to experience a completely different city and open myself to many new ideas.
