This is about an architecture geared towards a more inclusive experience - not limited to simply residents - through movement. Centered around the reimagining of an existing social housing scheme in Withington, Manchester, this project directs attention to the everyday neighbourhood encounters. How do we design for the varied pace of the individuals who will pass through? The concept of Architecture & Pace aims to create an environment that entertains the company of the insiders, the outsiders, the ones who are lost and the ones who have places to be.
