Tyler is a tutor in Manchester School of Architecture’s Infrastructure Space atelier and practises at SimpsonHaugh Architects, as a qualified architect, and completed her studies at University of Nottingham (MEng), London Metropolitan (MArch) and Birmingham City University (PgDip).

Over the last 10 years she has built up a body of experience across a range of scales and sectors, working in both architecture and urban design, within SimpsonHaugh’s Manchester and London offices. Most recently, Tyler has worked on a number of large-scale architectural projects at regional, national and international scales including educational, leisure and high-rise residential developments, as well as several neighbourhood development frameworks and strategic regeneration frameworks. 

Research

Tyler has research interests in community-led design, participatory and collaborative processes and adaptive re-use.
