Chris Wong – Manchester School of Architecture

Chris is an Urban Designer and Registered Architect with over 15 years’ experience working for a variety of practices across the UK, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Graduated from the Architectural Association in London and currently an Associate in the Gillespies Manchester office, he has also taken on urban design advisory role with Telford & Wrekin and Gateshead Council to support the council planning team in reviewing incoming planning submissions.

Chris has a thorough understanding of working within the parameters of local planning policies to realise masterplan frameworks across different scales. Living and practicing in China has allowed Chris to gain global perspective on urbanism and future growth of cities.
