Exhibition

A collaborative exhibition at Manchester Central Library to evaluate and capture the architectural and planning significance of Burnage Garden Village, designed in 1906. The project involved research at Manchester Tenants' Association archives and community consultation with existing residents. The exhibition traces the scheme's design development and the influence of the Garden City movement on this suburban prototype settlement. Findings have contributed to an article, due to be published in The Modernist Journal.
