Manchester School of Architecture is pleased to announce a new master’s programme in Architecture and Adaptive Reuse starting in September 2022.
The course has been developed from our successful MArch atelier Continuity in Architecture and will be focused on existing buildings, situations and places, and how over time these structures and locations can be encouraged to evolve, sustain new uses, and accommodate new users
Architecture and Adaptive Reuse will by led by Sally Stone who has written extensively on the subject including UnDoing Buildings (Routledge, 2019), co-author of ReReadings Volumes 1 + 2 (RIBA Publications, 2004, 2018), Emerging Practices in Pedagogy (Routledge, 2021) and the forthcoming Remember Reveal Construct (Routledge).
