Industrial 4.0
Since the beginning of the 21st century, the development of digital techonogy and emergence of artificial intellegence brings the world into Industrial 4.0. In urban planning, Al urbanism has been postponed as a more effective and sustainable approach than smart city. Those frameworks and advancements lead a future senario which significantly different from traditional urban materplanning strategy, generating a different urban senario.
While for Trafford Park, a place where once prosperous during first and second industrial revolution, is nowundergoing a decline in economy. Therefore, this research project will focus on how to re-active the Industrial Spaces / Workplaces and emphasize adaptability and resilience for the Trafford Park toward the future Industrial 4.0.
