The BA (Hons) Architecture programme at Manchester School of Architecture is a unique collaboration between the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University and includes the inspiring B.15 workshop who have an exhibition at the Venice Biennale this year. Our curriculum blends architectural education with innovative, research-led approaches, which is shaped by a commitment to sustainability, climate justice, and biodiversity. We are delighted that our school have maintained the 5th position among architecture school globally (QS World University Rankings – Architecture) and were recognised as the 5th most sustainable university in the UK (People and Planet University League).

A strong awareness of environmental responsibility underpins the curriculum, and this has revealed itself in some interesting final studio projects. There is a tangible shift towards innovative and natural materials which we hope our students take into practice which we hope to see more of in practice.

We have incredible students at MSA and we will miss our graduating students a lot! MSA is only as good as the sum of its parts, and students, together with staff, visiting professors, guests and collaborators come together to shape the school and continue to contribute to the future of architecture around the globe.

We wish our students luck and hope you enjoy the show.
