An area I have focused on within BA3 is sustainability and innovation, developing new, exciting methods for designing using both these themes. I have created a solar production facility within Stockport consisiting of key machinary and cutting edge technology to push the use of solar power as a green source of energy through an also self-sufficient process. Although I have learnt a lot about this specific process alongside other key sustainable factors including sustainable water systems, transport networks, community values and biodiversity, there is still so much more I would like to study as this is and will be a huge part of Architecture's future. Working within Stockport allowed me to develop an understanding for the vocational values and traditions of this town and how I could link this in with my own personal narrative both local to the site and the wider community.
