Against migration: recreating the lost community
When the greed of those in power is getting larger and larger by the day, the rest of the world is supporting the consequences. On the verge of a full economic and climate crisis, the gentrification of Bradford pushed the people to become commuters in their own homes, breaking the community apart.
The programme aims to create a space of rest and joy for the public where humans and non-humans could exist in a symbiotic relationship. “From the People to the People” proves that the connection between old and young is found in simple activities: art, music, and reflection. on the inside, the dendriform columns mimic the bird’s journey through the trees situated by the riverbank.
