INFRA.SPACE - Train Station / Wind Turbine Tower Factory
A project that promotes usage of recycled steel to produce wind turbine towers that gets transported to wind farms. By implementing a factory that uses recycled metal, with a train station, it will encourage more passengers to be more knowledgeable about metal recycling and producing wind turbine towers by using electric arc furnaces. With such combination and integration of building spaces, it will force people who uses the Belfast’s main public transport system to also learn about the factory and its programmes that is attached to the train station.
